Dolce & Gabbana showroom Venice jewellery room mosaic

Carbondale designed the interior renovation of the D&G palace in Venice. The project celebrates the richness of the product displayed in city's cultural history through Venetian traditional craftsmanship.

The boutique is located in the historical Palazzo Torres, designed by the Venetian architect Giuseppe Torres, with each room showcasing its own unique colours and finishes. 

The space is detailed with carved dark wood walls and ceilings, and with elaborately patterned inlay mosaic stone flooring by Friul Mosaic.

The large women’s ready-to-wear room is a vibrant red, adorned with walls lined with Rosso Levanto marble and stone mosaic tiles, while the men’s ready-to-wear presents green tones with Verde Menta marble and mosaics.

The high-jewellery space is covered with dark blue glass mosaic walls enriched gold glass mosaic stars inspired by the 10th-century arched portico of the Basilica at Piazza San Marco.
